So you’ve seen Lady Gaga wear it, and Miley Cyrus wear it, heck! you’ve even seen Avril Lavigne. And closer to home, Sherlyn Chopra. But they’re celebrities, they can pull anything off, especially in a music video or on stage. You love the look but you’re pretty darn sure that you’d never be able wear this spectacular piece of garment and not look, well you know, over-the-top, right?

Wrong. I did a bit of research and found some very street-friendly styles to sport the Studded Bra or the Spiked Bra and get the look you want. The fun thing is despite looking like a very ‘Tough’ piece of clothing, it’s actually very versatile. Take a look at the images below and you’ll know what I mean.
Girly with an Edge.
Layer it with a wide necked top and a short gathered or a skirt of any length. i love how the outfit slightly reveals the spiked bra and gives this soft feminine look a hard edgy feel.
Casual and Laid Back.
Layered with a light sweater and worn out denim shorts for a laid back yet fashionable statement.
Rocker Chick.
Layered with a tank top, a leather jacket, can be worn with skinny pants or a tight fitted short black skirt.
Punk Rock!
I personally LOVE this look. Teamed with a fitted knee length leopard print skirt and a DIY ombre dyed denim Jacket, this look is extremely unique and kick ass!
Classy and Chic.
Or you could go the Demi Lovato way. She layered it with a under a sheer fitted top and a fitted jacket with just a hint of the bra showing. Extremely Classy!
The Grunge Look.
Worn under a rather shredded T-shirt. Goes best with worn out denims or even cargo pants.
If you bold enough to wear just the bra, then this is the perfect party look. Teamed with a high waist black skirt!
Very Boho!
You can make the edgy bra boho, simply by teaming it with a loose shirt and an A-line high waist skirt and a pair of very cool glasses/shades. This is another look I really LOVE.
Punk Rock!
Layered with a summer sweater, a leather jacket and worn out denim shorts and fishnet stockings. Throw in some chains and metal rings and probably some boots the look is very punk rock!
Classic black jeans and black heels with a tucked in tank, revealing just enough of the bra that I wouldn’t consider it too risque.
Other common ways of wearing it are:
If you don’t want it showing in the front, pick a bra which has studs on the wings of the bra. Wear it under a loose top with a big armhole and show the sides off.
Layered under a lacy top.
Under a translucent top to show as an iridescent shadow.
